Description

eldoLED *274A1N OPTOTRONIC 55W Constant Current 0-10V Dimmable LED Driver, Programmable Compact OTi55W/120-277/2A0/DIM-1/J (Osram 57356)

The eldoLED *274A1N OPTOTRONIC 55W Compact Drivers offer a range of architectural-grade features that enhance functionality and support advanced lighting design. These OPTOTRONIC LED drivers deliver true 1% dimming across the entire programmable output current range, allowing lighting designers to control and fine-tune light output with precision.

These drivers synchronize ON/OFF timing and deliver responsive dimming control to meet stringent efficacy requirements while ensuring uniform dimming performance across multiple luminaires. The DIM-to-OFF feature lets fixtures transition smoothly from low light levels to completely off, creating a seamless lighting experience.

In addition, the driver includes an AUX power output option that powers and extends DIM-to-OFF capability to integrated sensors and control systems within the fixture. This added flexibility helps designers and engineers create smarter, more efficient lighting systems without compromising control or performance.

The eldoLED *274A1N OPTOTRONIC Compact Drivers combine advanced dimming technology, reliable performance, and intelligent features to empower lighting professionals to create dynamic, energy-efficient environments that meet both aesthetic and functional demands.

OEMs can fully customize programmable features in a driver and optimize production line efficiency by using the one-click programming feature of the OPTOTRONIC Programmer. The OPTOTRONIC Programmer lets users program the power supply without powering it up or connecting it to AC line voltage.

Key Application Notes

  • You can program Dim-to-Off and Soft Start features to enable or disable them. Products ship with both features disabled by default. To use these features, enable them through the programming software.
  • If LED Thermal Protection feature is used, an NTC thermistor must be connected to the driver.

Key Features & Benefits

  • All OPTOTRONIC Programmable LED Drivers are factory programmed to a default level that can be adjusted to the desired settings.
  • The current foldback accuracy is within +/-5% of the expected value. This value would also depend on the tolerance of the NTC component.
  • Each driver in a luminaire requires a dedicated NTC device. Connecting a single NTC to multiple drivers can lead to inconsistent dimming and strobing effects.
  • For UL SREC-certified drivers, Fixture Thermal Protection is turned OFF by default.
  • To ensure that the protection is only triggered when there is a constant abnormality, there is a time delay of 1 min incorporated in the firmware. If the change in resistance of the NTC is persistent for this time, the driver confirms the abnormal and enters the protection mode
  • Due to the above, this feature cannot be used to set the output current on the driver’s using a potentiometer. In select LED drivers, designers can take advantage of the LEDset functionality. To learn more about this, please refer to the web resource.
